Who Are You Thankful For?

Thank you.

Sometimes it is thanks for helping me get my grant to grow my business.

Sometimes, thanks for supporting me to get my first multi-million pound investor.

More often, though, it is the smaller thanks that hit me so much harder.

Thanks for just sticking around.

Thanks for calming me down.

Thanks for helping me feel less overwhelmed.

Thanks for picking me up when I don't feel like I can go on.

Thanks for being there for me.

Over the recent weeks, I've heard this a lot.

Starting a business is lonely and isolating.

You can feel that you have to always look like you are in control and that you have to convince everyone that everything is going great.

But having that one person who knows the reality, understands it, and helps you through it?

It can be the most meaningful connection you can have in those early days.

And I can't thank you enough for letting me be a part of that.
