Friends and Family Do Not Support Your Business
And you don't really want them to, either.
While you start, run and grow your business, you need a lot of different types of support
Some of it will need to be objective - those who understand your business, your industry, the #strategies you need to achieve the success you want. (People like me)
More importantly, some of the support needs to be subjective and personal to you - to make sure that in the middle of all of the busy-ness, that YOU are doing okay.
And that is where those closest to you come in.
They will look after you and nurture you.
But this creates its own issues.
Because a lot of times, they won't see your business as something that is making your life better.
It may be making you stressed, or unavailable to them, or they don't see the long term benefits of the short term pain you are experiencing as you get going.
And this can then lead them to think that you continuing on with your business is not worth it.
But you have to remember one thing:
The ones who love you want to see you happy and safe – and running a #business can look like the complete opposite!
Because they don't want you to be uncomfortable, they may advise you to quit or change your tactics.
But it is because they love you.
And it is because they don't know that what you are going through is a short term experience to achieve a much brighter future.
Don't dismiss their concern for you - but don't let it put you off your path either.
